Zone Diet

Zone DietZone Diet is one of the most popular diets in recent years. Zone Diet is designed for 14 days, during which you can lose weight up to 10 pounds.

Was developed in Boston by Dr. Barry Sears. His concept is based on a simple principle: if you put the body in a favorable zone, it clears and resets the excess weight.
The Zone diet is based on a balanced combination of ration protein, vegetable fats and carbohydrates.

Preference should be given foods which rich in protein, and almost completely excluded from the ration products that contain sugar. American nutritionist advises to eat little but often.


From the options below make up a menu on 14 days.
Zone diet plan
Breakfasts:

  • Omelette of the four proteins, cooked in vegetable oil, a bit of bran bread, coffee or tea without sugar (can be made with honey), small amount of raisins.
  • Prepare a salad of pieces of fruit, walnuts and raisins with a small addition of low fat sour cream. You can also drink coffee or tea without sugar.
  • Half a cup of oatmeal with the addition of almonds pours a glass of mineral water without gas. Drink – coffee or tea without sugar.
  • Can you eat a piece of ham with a slice of tomato + for dessert with a slice of watermelon.
  • Toast with berries and coffee without sugar.
  • Omelette of the four egg whites with a slice of bacon, half a grapefruit
  • Low-fat yogurt, thin slice of bacon, a handful of raisins and tea without sugar.

Lunches:

  • Chicken. Tomatoes. 2 leaves of Lettuce. A slice of bread from bran. Half apple.
  • Seafood salad, dressed with mayonnaise. 200 grams approximately.
  • 200 grams of chicken meat in any form. One apple. A small piece of hard cheese varieties. Tomato.
  • Baked chicken. Orange. Salad from olives.
  • Chicken. Tomatoes. 2 leaves of Lettuce. A slice of bread from bran. Half apple.
  • Chicken fillet, a slice of pepper and 2 plums
  • Sandwich consisting of bread with chicken, tomato and lettuce salad. Half an orange.

Dinners:

  • Two hundred grams of green vegetables cooked
  • A small slice of fried salmon
  • Pork, baked with apples.
  • Cutlets of beef and baked zucchini
  • Spinach with lemon juice and 100 grams of strawberries
  • A piece of fillet of white fish species, baked

Pros. Fast weight loss in the first two weeks.

Cons. As we already know, a little carbohydrate – means little energy. Also deficiency of vitamins and fiber.
