Obesity – a disease, based on a metabolic disease that leads to an excess of incoming energy from food than its consumption and excessive fat in human body. Violation of the energy balance is the result of increased appetite or reduced physical activity, and more often – both factors simultaneously.

Obesity in any person occurs when energy consumption exceeds its cost over a long time. Very slight, but continuous excessive consumption of energy leads to a pronounced accumulation of adipose tissue in the body.

Diet to speed up metabolism – in recent years, a number of diets, whose operation consists in accelerating the metabolic processes in the body.


Methods of treating obesity

Modern medicine offers the following methods of treatment of obesity: non-pharmacological (diet therapy, increasing physical activity, behavioral therapy), medication and surgery. The most optimal is a comprehensive approach – a combination of non-medicinal methods of weight loss and pharmacotherapy.

Has long been known for the role of nutrition in the development of various diseases, including obesity, and in getting rid of them. And now without diet therapy cannot be successful treatment of obesity. There are many different diets for weight reduction. Some experts suggest a diet with restriction of total calories, the other – isolated restriction of fat or carbohydrates. Essentially they are all right. One patient must reduce consumption of fats, another – food intake, and the third overeat sweets, and even with normal content of fat in the diet has a constant weight gain.

Recommended dietary products and dishes
Bread and flour products. Rye bread, wheat and bran and other products made of coarse flour. Consumption of bakery products is limited to 150 grams per day. If weight loss does not occur, the amount of bread and other products made of flour is reduced to 100 grams.

Soups. Predominantly vegetarian vegetables with the addition of small quantities of cereals, soup, borscht, beetroot soup, soup, several times a week on vegetables, lean meat or fish broth with meatballs. Portion – 250 grams per day.

Dishes and side dishes of vegetables. Mainly in the raw form, are preferred all sorts of cabbage, cucumber, radishes, lettuce, squash, pumpkins, tomatoes, turnips, carrots. Dishes from boiled and poached, baked vegetables (white cabbage, and color, zucchini, squash, turnips, tomatoes, eggplant). Dishes of potatoes, carrots, beets, rutabaga, green peas in a limited number. Limit salted and pickled vegetables.

Dishes and side dishes from the cereals and pasta. You can use the crisp porridge of buckwheat, pearl barley and ground barley groats. Oatmeal, cooked pasta, casseroles, puddings, with the addition of vegetables and fruits consumed in limited quantities due to the decrease of grain.

Of meat, poultry, fish and seafood. Law-fat varieties of meat, cooked with a piece, followed by quenching, baking or frying. Beef, veal, chicken, rabbit, turkey – up to 150 grams per day. Beef sausages, boiled tongue, the liver is limited. Fish – low-fat varieties, up to 150 g per day. Mussels, shrimp – up to 150-200 grams per day.

Eggs. 1.2 pieces per day. Hard-boiled, the protein omelets with vegetables.

Milk, milk products and dishes from them. Milk, yogurt, buttermilk, cottage cheese, low-fat milk and 200 grams per day. Fat-free sour cream in dishes, mild cheeses. Butter is limited to 15 grams a day, partly replaced by vegetable oil, added to the dish.

Cold dishes and snacks. Vinaigrettes, salads and pickled vegetables (after washing), vegetable caviar, salads, seafood, meat or fish in aspic, herring soaked, gelatin beef, lean ham.

Fruit. Unsweetened fruit, berries, jellies, mousses, compotes without sugar.

Sauces and spices. Gravy on weak vegetable broth and broth; herbs, vanilla, cinnamon. Tomato sauce, white with vegetables.

Drinks and juices. Tea, coffee and black with milk, juices of vegetables, savory fruit and berries, broth hips. Pure water – no more than a liter a day.
